About the Artist

My passion for art, fashion and architecture began at an early age.  I guess you could say that my interest in beads and wire began in my Catholic grade school years when I started making rosaries for my family and friends at age eight.

With every family vacation and summer camp, I couldn’t wait to attend the craft program du jour or spending my days in painting lessons. As I got older, I didn’t go anywhere without my pencil and sketch pad, every spare moment consumed in exploring how to replicate what I saw in fashion magazines, nature and my surroundings.

Because of my love for fashion, in my late 20’s I opened an upscale Clothing Boutique in Uptown New Orleans, spending my time at market searching for new, little known designers in New York.  The influence of fabrics, colors and textures led to the next obsession - interior design.  After moving to Florida, I began painting commercial and residential murals as well as designing interiors.

Where jewelry is concerned, my constant complaint has always been that there are two choices - expensive, fine jewelry or costume jewelry that is made of plated metals that peel or turn colors.

My line of necklaces, bracelets and earrings combines the best of both worlds. I primarily use semi-precious stones, freshwater pearls and Czech glass. The metal clasps and spacer beads are composed of either sterling silver or are gold filled, which is a lifetime product. For the price of costume pieces you can now own something that has value and will last.
